The assignment
EDSN runs central data systems for the Dutch energy market. An old monolith there had to make way for microservices, split into several registers that each publish on their own Kafka topics.
Together with another freelancer I built the critical synchronisation solution that makes the phase-out possible. Its output was compared daily against production for 7 energy companies, so the switch could happen without surprises.
